Ben Tirran is the highest point on the wide plateau north of Glen Clova. Its finest features are the views of Glen Clova and the beautiful corrie-lochans of Loch Brandy and Loch Wharral. The true summit is not the cairn marked on the OS map but the trig point less than a kilometer to the NE labelled "The Goet".
The cache is a camoed round click lock container with logsheets and pencils, is big enough to hold geocoins.
When I hid the cache I had gone up from the Clove Hotel by Loch Brandy onto Green hill. Made my way across the plateau on a landy track to the gate, taking in distant view of Mount Keen. Once I reached the gate I used the fence as a handrail for a while before going cross country onto White Hill then the Goet. After hiding the cache I made my way down to Loch Wharral along the burn, an easier route is back onto The Goet and take the path down, that would be up to you. Once off the hill down the side of Adielinn plantation to the road and back to the car park.
Hill walking can be dangerous especially in winter conditions and is done entirely at your own risk. Please take all the right precautions, do not rely souly on GPSr, take map and compass and know how to use them.
