Small tupperware with log and starter items. It is located on public right-of-way, but beware of traffic on the road. There is a great view of the observatory from about 150 feet west of the cache. The observatory is open to the public at 7 p.m. on the third Friday of every month except July, when it is closed for maintenance. See www.starkids.org for full details and to find other times when you can visit the observatory and even schedule a private event. The observatory is a nonprofit project of the Little Thompson Science Foundation and everyone is welcome to visit.
