Geocache Description:


As a member of Arkansas Geocachers Association (www.arkgeocaching.org) I am putting together a C.I.T.O. to help the board members reach our goals. This "clean up" will be in a familiar spot to many of you. This area of Arkansas is where geocaching got it's start in our wonderful state.  There is a particular spot of this wonderful park that was used as an unofficial dump probably 50 years ago. The area is out of sight so it doesn't get the TLC that the rest of the park gets. On my last visit we found, tires, paint cans, t.v., you name it and it was there with 50+ years of rust on it. We will meet at the coordinates and shuttle to the area as parking is limited. Please park at the coords listed and we will get our way to the area in need. We will meet at 10 am (this gives ample driving time to everyone that may want to attend) and clean to about noon. At noon we will get together for pictures and prizes. Although not necessary feel free to bring any of the following to assist:

shuttle vehicle(s)

truck to transport trash collected (I'm trying to get a dumpster)

water

gloves (Bring enough for your party. Leather or cloth due to old trash)

trash bags

grabbers

hand warmers

hot chocolate/ coffee

door prizes
