
Welcome to the Crawford Park District Geo-Park Tour! This geotrail will take you to various parks within the Crawford Park District in Crawford County, Ohio. At each cache you will find a code. These codes can be recorded and your completed worksheet can then be returned to the Crawford Park District Nature Center at Lowe Volk Park to claim a collectable geocaching item! To find the final location of this cache you will need to do the following:
At the GZ given coordinates, walk about 40 ft. at bearing of 124 (as per google earth) degrees. Be sure to replace the cache as found for the next finder.
Sandusky Wildlife Area
The Sandusky Wildlife Area is the name of a new 35 acre site that has been preserved by the Crawford Park District, working in cooperation with the Friends of the Crawford Park District, the Ohio Department of Transportation, and the Ohio Division of Wildlife. The mostly wooded area is located along the Sandusky River about one mile west of Bucyrus.
