GLENGORM STANDING STONES
A link with the past
The standing stones occupy a commanding position west of Glengorm Castle. Only one stone was standing in the early 1800s, and the other two had been re-erected by 1942, the northern stone in its original position but the southern stone has been moved from further south-west.
The cache is not placed at or near the standing stones. So, inspect the stones by all means, but do not search for the cache anywhere near them. In fact, the cache is placed above the nearby estate track. It is not in the wall.
