These warehouses, built wherever there was a convenient natural harbour, were used to store the carob harvest before it was packed and exported into Europe. This was an ancient trade that once helped make Cyprus very rich. The building is not safe so do not venture too far inside. Easily reached from the Cafe Köşk down some steps at the back or by rough pathway leading on to purposely built path. The cache is not on /inside the building.
