In baseball, hitting for the cycle is the accomplishment of one batter hitting a single, a double, a triple, and a home run in the same game. The cycle is roughly as uncommon as a no-hitter and has been called "one of the rarest" and "most difficult feats" in baseball. The first player in Major League Baseball history to hit for the cycle was Curry Foley in 1882. As of 2013, no player has ever hit for the cycle in the MLB All-Star Game or the postseason.
As a geocacher, your challenge is to “Hit for the Cycle.” In the same day, you must find one type of cache (single), two of another type of cache (double), three of another type of cache (triple), and four of another type of cache (home run).
Example:
Single (1 Multi): ...
Double (2 Traditionals): ...
Triple (3 Virtual’s): ...
Home Run (4 Unknown's): ...
Rules:
1. Past finds do count. Caches you own do NOT count.
2. All cache types count (ie traditional, multi, mystery, event, etc.), but no benchmarks.
3. You must find one type of cache (single), two of another type of cache (double), three of another type of cache (triple), and four of another type of cache (home run).
