Aerial Fire Fighters Traditional Geocache

This cache has been placed in haste to support Jennifer&Dean's plea for, shall we say... a "Cache & Dash" or "Park a Grab" to help their 100 Day Cache Streak!  Nothing creative here.  Just something I quickly put together with the materials I had handy to help the cause.

This cache is a micro.  The container is a camo plactic container slightly taller than a 35mm Film Container but the diameter is smaller.

This is a great spot for watching the Aerial Fire Fighting activity during the summer fire seasons and spring training season as well.  I would like to get the Forest Service to place a picnic table here for the public to sit and enjoy lunch while watching the airshow from time to time.  Hasn't happened yet but I will work on that.  While you stop in for this cache, remember there is also a multi cach you can get within walking distances from this cache and don't forget about the Smokejumper Visitor Center as well.  Open Memorial Day through Labor Day and by appointment in the off season.
