About the film:
THE BREAKFAST CLUB, made in 1985, was director John Hughes breakthrough movie. It's a simple concept: teenagers of different types and beliefs all thrown together in a lunchroom for a day-long detention. The film introduced us to Emilio Estevez, Molly Ringwald, Anthony Micheal Hall, Judd Nelson and Ally Sheedy. A bold experiment of a film in the era of teenage slasher movies. They just sit around and talk about themselves. We don't know why that reminded us of our Geocaching gatherings, but it did.
