To find the cache, please follow these directions:
Park on the backside (away from Highway 80) of doctor’s office (Memorial facility – not on the Uncle Bubba’s side) in order to access this great walking / recreation area that Chatham County maintains.
You will walk SOUTH on the mossy path past the picnic table, cross street, go EAST to stop sign at Bryan Woods Road. Project a waypoint at 205 degrees and 489 feet in order to get to the trailhead. The trail turns from concrete to asphalt at the trailhead and runs SOUTH-SOUTHWEST. From the trailhead project a waypoint for the final cache location at 262 degrees and 579 feet. The easiest path to follow is down this asphalt path about 80 feet and turn WEST on the first dirt path on your right.
Stay on the main dirt path, veer SOUTH away from houses and stay on main dirt path as it turns back WEST until you can see the large grass clearing (about football field size). Look for path to the NORTH just before the clearing, and take it to the coordinates you projected from the trailhead.
See a tree ahead of you at your projected final waypoint. It’s a beautiful live oak covered in spanish moss. You will find your treasure there . . .
NOTE: Do not take the letterbox stamp attached to the logbook! It's there for all to enjoy.
