The Bell UH-1B 'Iroquois' used to be a very common sight flying around the Shoalhaven. Operated for many years by the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Australian Navy, this particular one (Iroquois 894) is a landmark for those crossing the Shoalhaven River near the bridges. It stands outside the Tourist Information Centre, in case any of you are looking for things to see and do (Just in case you need a break from geocaching! Yeah...didn't think so).
Parking is available via the car park entrance in Pleasant Way. Turning into this street can be achieved by both North and South bound traffic. The cache container is a 'Nano' in size, black, and is magnetic. You will need a pen, and may need tweezers to remove the log.The cache got its name from my young son (One half of the team "Two Woody's"), who from a very early age tried to claim the helicopter as his own...as kids do. I couldn't give it to him for real, but thought this the next best thing.
