11月13日は「茨城県民の日」です。 この日は茨城県民が県の歴史を知り、自治意識を高めて、郷土の発展と飛躍を願う日です。 1871年(明治4)7月14日、廃藩置県の詔書により全国に3府302県が置かれました。 同年11月13日には、これらが統廃合されて3府72県となりました。 このとき、本県域には「新治県」、「印藩県」そして「茨城県」が置かれました。 明治元年から100年目にあたる1968年（昭和43年）に「県民の日を定める条例」が制定され、 初めて「茨城県」という県名が用いられたこの日を「県民の日」と定めました。 県民の日には、県の施設などで入場料などの割引などがあります。 この機会に、ぜひいばらきで「発見」の旅におでかけください。 http://www.pref.ibaraki.jp/index.html
November 13 is the "Day of Ibaraki Prefecture". This day is the day to know the history of Ibaraki, and to wishe for further development of the prefecture. On the 14th July, 1871, 3 major and 302 normal prefectures were placed across Japan by abolition of feudal clan and establishment of prefectures On 13 November, 1871, they were merged into 3 major and 72 normal prefectures. On that day, Niihari, Imba and Ibaraki prefectures were setteled around these district. On 1968, 100th aniversary of Meiji revolution, July 13th was decided to be the "Day of Ibaraki Prefecture", as the name "Ibraki prefecture" was first used on the day. There are discounts of entrance fees at many local govermental facilities.
