Kikar HaMedina Geocache (כיכר המדינה) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

jdevor: Checked up on it, and yes -- it's gone again :-(
I'm no 100% sure what the problem is. It's either the rain or muggle(s) that keep removing the container. Either way, I need to archive this cache in its current set up.

Geocache Description:

The cache is not hidden at the posted coordinates, but rather in a tree, less than 120m away. To locate which tree, you must identify the photos included below. All the photos were taken from ground zero (GZ). Note that the container is hidden a little over 2m high, so make sure to retrieve carefully. You may want to bring a stool, or a friend that can give you a lift.

FINDERS: please replace the rock, which is meant to wedge the cache in place.

Kikar HaMedina (English: "State Square", though it really should be "State Circle"), is the largest plaza in Tel Aviv.
The circular plaza was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer (in cooperation with Israeli architects who planned for the existing residential buildings). The plaza is bounded by a large circular street named "He Be'Iyar" (Israeli Independence Day). The "Wine Press Garden", a Hellenistic archaeological site, is located nearby.
The plaza is currently undeveloped and contains a park with a variety of trees. Over the years there have been several attempts to demolish the park and build a large shopping center or luxury residential towers, but these initiative have so far faltered due to local opposition.
In the 1960s, a circus moved into the plaza, though by the early 1970s luxury buildings and international designer shops were constructed along He BeIyar Street, making this one of the most expensive areas in Tel Aviv.
On 3 September, 2011, Kikar HaMedina was the gathering place for the 'March of the Million', the culminating demonstration of the 2011 Israeli social justice protests. The demonstration was the largest in Israel's history, with approximately 300,000 people marching on the square, and 100,000 demonstrating in other locations across Israel.
