Nightmare Night Cache Redo Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

J27Smith: Shutting this one down, too many tacks missing and to overgrown at this point to keep it going. Retrieved the final container and found that some ants had decided to make the box their new home, but otherwise everything was in tact. Thanks to all who came out and logged this one!

Geocache Description:

This one was too good to 'let go' so if you found it before, come on out again! This is a night cache in the Muddy Creek Preserve. You start at GC2F4BK , Nano Muddy Creek Nightmare. Parking 'on site' may be an issue for small cars, the pull off has a pretty steep grade, but you can park at either of the Muddy Creek Preserve sites and (carefully) walk up the road.

This resurrected night cache is in the wild part of the Muddy Creek Preserve. There is an old overgrown road for part of the way. You should wear long pants and your hiking shoes. Beware of varmints. Follow the white reflectors for a while down the road until you find an opening in the fence line.

Continue following the white tacks for another hundred yards or so. As you near the end you will see orange ones instead. Find the single orange tack and then look around for a pair of orange reflectors. The cache is nearby...

The log is in a black zipper bag inside the cache container. Allenmabry grabbed the F2F trek tag and he's released it as Sunny Beaches - very cool! The container is pretty big, lots of room for SWAG so trade up or trade even. Please leave the scene as you found it and remember to CITO.

P.S. Don't forget bug spray and your pen! Happy Trails! And a big shout out to DCV for being the originator of this cache! There is also another white tack marking the exit point on your way back...
