Do you know Debaere?
He's a proud Canadian 'cacher from North Carolina and he'll be in the Bay Area on Thursday, December 12, 2013. While he's here he'd like to meet some of the local geocachers from our little corner of the world! There may or may not have been some bragging about how awesome geocachers from the Bay Area are...
So, if you've always wanted to meet a geocacher from Canada, or a geocacher from North Carolina, or a geocacher who built the The Library Of Gallifrey, or a geocacher who shares some entertaining stories....or if you just want to get together with your fellow Bay Area geocachers and swap travel bugs, holiday happiness, and general geogrins while casting curious glances at the Canadian...please stop by the Sonoma Chicken Coop at 90 Skyport Drive in San Jose between 6:30pm and 8:30pm on Thursday, December 12, 2013 (upstairs in the usual area...but there will be signs for those who haven't been here before)!
Bring your trackables to be discovered or traded (especially if you have any that might want to hitch a ride with Debaere to North Carolina or thereabouts)!
There will be a raffle for swag at ~7:30pm: each attendee will receive 1 ticket after signing the log book and those who bring raffle donations will receive an additional ticket for each donation! So, if you have any swag/ginormous ammo cans/evil penny caches/unregistered trackables that you'd like to donate for the raffle, be sure to bring 'em! (And if anyone wants to help facilitate the raffle, please let SaSiCo know! We all know there's some raffle pros in this corner of the 'caching world!)
Now, get your geogrins on and go meet a Canadian at the Coop!
When: Thursday, December 12, 2013 between 6:30-8:30pm
Where: Somona Chicken Coop, 90 Skyport Drive, San Jose, CA
Who: Geocachers of all ages, experience and nationalities (after all, there will be at least one Canadian in attendance...)
Why: Why not? Also, you know you want another event cache on your statistics page. Also Part Deux: RAFFLE SWAG! Also Part Three (because I don't know how to spell three in French, Canadian or any language other than English): you won't find a cooler crowd to hang out with on this particular Thursday evening in December.
