Geocache Description:

** PLEASE hide well!**

** Cold Weather Warning** This area is VERY slippery during colder weather - mist from the Falls covers this area and since it isn't salted it can be extremely slick. Please use your judgement if this cache is accessible according to your abilities. Hide/cover cache well pls to protect from muggles AND the ice! :)

** Please hide well!!

This cache is very near a now unused rail line. The rail line initially used to be the Erie and Ontario Railway. It was also the Michigan Central Railway and lastly the CN Railway.

Cache is a metal water bottle.

THERE IS ROOM FOR SMALL TRACKABLES!

There is one sign that states that the old rails are still private property - the sign is only seen when returning to the suggested parking area. To not cross this sign, you should walk North past the cache area on the sidewalk on Portage Rd and then carefully cross and return South.
