I am so proud to give a small tribute to those that have served our country. Veterans' day is a perfect day to honor these folks. Some volunteered, selflessly. Some were drafted. Some of us signed up because we had the promise of a great education; I liked green. Some, I suppose, stayed out of jail by signing up. I appreciate you all.
This cache is being placed to facilitate a holiday cache challenge that is popping up more and more frequently. You need to find a cache on the day of the holiday in the year it was celebrated. So an Easter cache will need to be found on the day Easter is celebrated that particular year. I hope this cache will be published by the tenth or eleventh of November so it will qulaify for Veteran's Day of this year. The number of qualifiers are modest. I found one on May first of this year that I used for May Day. The qualifications for my challenge are very liberal. One of the possibilities is a cache found on father's day can probably qualify on any cache found on Grandpa's road.....on father's day. Have fun with this concept.
