Dit is een wandeling door onze straat.
De zoektocht begint bij het naambordje van onze straat op bovenstaand coördinaat. Het Avontuur ligt in de Verborgen Zone: Een 80 meter brede strook van zo'n 1,5 km in noord-zuidrichting, begrensd door stadsmuren met woningen die zijn afgeleid van de middeleeuwse muurhuizen in het centrum van Amersfoort.
Om de tachtig meter liggen in onze straat kunstwerken van de Kunstenaar Joseph Semah. Hoe ze er precies uitzien mogen jullie zelf ontdekken. Ze zijn gebaseerd op het boek Hypnerotomachia Poliphili (1499). Wat waarschijnlijk een van de meest curieuze boeken is die ooit gepubliceerd is over de strijd van Poliphilo om liefde, in een droom. Poliphilo droomt dat hij aan het wandelen is op een kronkelend pad in een donker en angstaanjagend bos, wanneer hij door een onaards geluid naar een vallei geleid wordt. Hier komt Poliphilo in aanraking met allerlei architecturale elementen, zoals obelisken, piramides en labyrinten, met dieren zoals draken en met een bijzondere vegetatie.

This is a hike through our street
