Geocache Description:

Burns the Gopher needs help finding this cashe! He is digging holes everywhere looking.... so be careful where you step! Burns reccomends wearing shoes because of all the stickers! Will you help Burns the Gopher find this cashe?

GREAT JOB Anteaus FOR FTF!

This cashe is hidden in the Sutherland Springs cemetary which is a public cemetary. Please be mindful of the graves which date back to the early 1800's..some graves have people born in the 1700's. Please where shoes because of sticker burrs and watch for gopher holes!

Sutherland Springs was a popular tourist spot in late 19th and early 20th century. The hotel Sutherland was a 52-room hotel with modern amenities such as the latest toilets, running water and even its own electrical generator in 1910.

While you are here I would suggest heading over to the other cashe's nearby. There is one by an old abandon bank. Sutherland Spings is listed as a ghost town. 3/26/2022 Cashe has been replaced. Happy hunting!
