Geocache Description:

Adding to the McLeod Series of geo-caches. Please respect others using the area. Lots of garbage debris around and there is a garbage can near parking so if we all pick up one item we can make a difference. Please park where indicated. All caches are winter friendly, hanging in trees or off the ground, please replace where you found it and be sure it is secured.

It is called High Flow for a reason, during large rain events or snow melts this area receives high flows. Look around you at the base of the trees on the upstream side, there is a lot of debris at the base from when the water was receiving high flow and exceeded the stream banks. That being said please be careful during these times. Looking at the height of erosion on the stream banks will also tell you of the high flow rates that are received here. Enjoy the McLeod Series of geo-caches, all winter friendly so get out and do some hiking.
