Geocache Description:

Frenchtown Pond State Park is free to Montana residents. There are envelopes provided for non-residents to pay a nominal fee.  Be sure to check the park hours and regulations. You can do this online and they are posted as you enter the park.

At this wonderful little park you can use your favorite lures both summer and winter. You can fish, ice fish, watch turtles, use non-motorized boats, stand-up boards, picnic, swim, and geocache.  This is a favorite place of ours to kayak. There is a nice trail around the pond for running and walking.  From the parking lot there is also an excellent biking trail.  You may also just want to relax and do nothing.

This cache is a small container.  This can be a very high muggle area during certain times of the year.  Please be sure to completely conceal this cache with natural camo when you leave so the next cacher can enjoy the find.  It contains a log book and a few trade items.

It would be great if cachers could share photos of their activities at the pond. HAVE FUN!!!
