Geocache Description:


Askam in Furness is worth a visit for its views across the Duddon estuary and its long beach that boasts an outstanding breeding site for the country's rare Natterjack Toad, the estuary holds 20% of the entire UK population. You can either just sit and take in the views across the Estuary or you can park up and take the wooden steps down to the beach for a walk.
