Geocache Description:

In order to access this cache you will need to retrieve the combination from Brewhaha #9 (GC4RXWT). The final IS at the posted location.  

You are standing above the caves that enabled the beginning of a long brewing history in St. Louis. The long system of caves served as natural refrigeration during the brewing process, and brewers also opened them to the public. The Lemp Cave housed a Theatre, swimming pool, and was a popular night spot. A portion of the caves were destroyed by the I-55 construction, but the majority of the caverns remain intact (yet inaccessible to the public).
