Geocache Description:

Little Flipper Trail is a short hike around Little Flipper pond in Treasure Lake (gated community). There are interpretive stops along the trail for your learning enjoyment.

As part of my daughter's Girl Scout "Silver Award", she facilitated the repair of a footbridge along the southwestern section of the trail (the railings had both been pulled down), and added three new interpretive waysides on posts with photos, info, and QR codes for further information about the subjects.

And, part of her project was to also place a geocache along the trail to highlight the great hiking that is available in the area.

The Treasure Lake guards at the gate are aware of geocachers coming into the area. You can either tell them you're geocaching, or tell them that you're headed for the Ski Lodge.

The Little Flipper parking area closes at dusk ~ gated. Plan your visit accordingly.
