Another easy cache on the Florida Trail
The FTOC series developed by Itchyfeet2wander and myself back in 2009 covered six sections of the Florida trail from Paisley to Juniper Springs. FTOC stand for Florida Trail Ocala Challenge. The naming convention is expained in detail in the earlier FTOC caches. The concept was that others would add FTOC caches in the gaps we left. Only one or two caches were placed in that fashion. Itchyfeet2wander and I have moved on from this project so it's unlikely that another section will be added. As fate would have it I found myself camping at Juniper Springs and had 2 trail worthy caches with me. I could not resist placing these two in what would be the J section of the FTOC series. So here is FTOC T130J. It originally was a preform on the left side of the trail as you head north. Thanks to TheLF it is now a camo bison tube about 25’ off the left of the trail as you travel to the north, to be found in a scrub oak just to the right of a cactus that is growing in the middle of the side trail. This is the second replacement.
