Sa Bai Cache Traditional Cache

This cache is my very first hide! It's located near the guest house at which I stayed during my first trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand. This is located on the northwest side of town, at the end of a quiet, residential soi. This cache is close to restaurants, bars and the local nightlife.

There aren't that many caches in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and even fewer on this side of town. I thought this would be the perfect spot to place one during my visit here. This area of Chiang Mai is a great place to begin your adventures if you are planning to visit attractions in the nearby mountains.

I highly recommend renting a motorbike or scooter if you're planning to visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, Bhuping Palace, Doi Pui Hmong Village, or Doi Suthep - Pui National Park. Taxi tours are also available. Regardless of your choice, the proprietors of the guest house located at GZ will be very happy to assist you with your transportation arrangements. Of course, I also highly recommend this guest house if you are looking for a place to stay. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful, and they also know this cache is hidden here.

The cache is located at the edge of the street. There is no need to cross the threshold into the courtyard of the guest house to retrieve this cache, but I encourage all seekers of this cache to stop inside to say hello! Please, only search for this cache during reasonable hours. I suggest looking for this between sunrise and 10:00pm.

The cache is a micro sized container with a log sheet, but also has very limited space for a trade item, or two, and maybe even a very small TB. I left just such a small TB in the cache for the FTF; it barely fit inside! Please help it along on it's mission to see the world.
