Aberto desde Junho de 2007, o Museu Isaac Bitton encerra dentro dos seus muros os últimos vestigios da comunidade judaica que outrora existiu em Faro. Para além do espólio de várias peças, é também possivel visitar o cemitério composto por 107 túmulos datados de 1838 a 1932. O objectivo desta cache é dar a conhecer a fantástica história dos judeus de Faro que, inevitavelmente, se acaba por entrelaçar com a própria história da cidade e de Portugal.

Aberto de Segunda a Sexta-Feira, entre as 9:00 e as 13:00 e as 14:00 e as 17:00*
* por vezes o espaço fecha pelas 16:30 porque o senhor responsável pelo mesmo more longe de Faro e apenas tem transporte antes das 17:00

The Isaac Bitton Museum has been open to visitors since 2007 and keeps within its walls the last remains of the jewish community that once existed in Faro. Besides the vast assets, it is also possible to visit the cemetery which has 107 tombs dated from 1838 until 1932. The goal of this cache is to reveal the amazing story of the jewish of Faro which, inevitably, ends up tangling with the city's and Portugal's own histories.
SCHEDULE:
Open from Monday to Friday between 9 AM and 1 PM and 2 PM and 5 PM.*
*sometimes the museum closes before 5 PM as the guide lives far away from Faro and only has transport before the official closing time.
Free entrance.

A CACHE / THE CACHE
A cache não se encontra nas coordenadas iniciais. Para a encontrar poderá efectuar uma visita completa ao museu (cada visita tem a duração média de 1 hora e meia) ou simplesmente dirigir-se ao cemitério onde terá que recolher alguns dados e resolver uma simples equação que irá levá-lo ao ponto final da cache. Caso opte pela segunda hipotese é aconselhável informar o guia do museu de que é geocacher e que não pretende efectuar a visita guiada. Peço que não publiquem fotos do container nem do ponto zero do mesmo.
The cache is not in the starting coordinates. To find it you can either visit the whole museum (each visit takes about an hour and a half) or simply walk towards the cemetery area where you will have to collect some information and solve a simple equation which will lead to the final stage of the cache. In case you chose the second option it is advisable to inform the guide that you are a geocacher and that you don't wish to take the guided tour. I ask you not to publish photos of the container nor of its groundzero.
