emsdivr: Was performing cache maintenance today and noticed the cache had been moved due to reorganization at the site. I was going to temporarily disable the cache, but don't know if everything, if anything, will be replaced at this location. I don't feel it would be fair to disable this cache for an undetermined amount of time. It was fun while it lasted.

Geocache Description:

The cache is not at these coordinates, but the initial stage clue is.  This is an easy 3 stage Multi that can be completed without leaving your vehicle (except the final).  You will need a pen/pencil and paper.  There is a hidden theme that should be obvious when completed.

This is my first Multi so I made it an easy one.  Feedback is welcome.



Please keep a note of the value for all letters solved and pay attention to both capital letters and lower case.

You are at Stage 1 of this 3 stage Multi.  At these coordinates, you are looking for five (5) small numbers on a bright colored background.  You can use these five numbers to solve for the coordinates for Stage 2.  The digits are substituted as abcde (for example: if the number is 12345, a=1, b=2, c=3, etc.)

The coordinates for Stage 2 are N 34 59.ebd W 082 14.xyz [solve for xyz {(x = a+e) (y = b-c) (z =b-d)}]
[ check sum: e+b+d = 11, x+y+z = 9 ]

At Stage 2, you are looking for four (4) small numbers on a bright colored background.  You can use these four numbers to solve for the Final coordinates. The digits are substituted as ABCD *note CAPS* (for example: if the number is 1234, A=1, B=2, etc.)

The coordinates for the Final are N 34 59.fgh W 082 14.qrs [solve for {(f = D-A) (g = A+B) (h = C) (q = D) (r = C) (s = B)}]
[ check sum: f+g+h=18, q+r+s=18 ].
