Welcome to the Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation!
For more than a century, Scouting has been a source of “fun with a purpose.” These were the words of Scouting’s founder, Lord Robert Baden-Powell. He applied the skills he learned in the British military to create his Handbook for Boys that was well received in his native England. A meeting between Baden-Powell and William D. Boyce of Chicago set in motion the creation of the Boy Scouts of America in 1910. From then until now, Scouting has taught boys leadership, woodcraft, achievement and life skills all while participating in adventures in the wilderness.
This cache is placed at the entrance to the BSA Gulf Ridge Council's Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation. It should be an easy park and grab.
