Geocache Description:

The Coordinates will lead you to the location of the Geocache, but to gain access to the cache to log the notebook you must visit four locations inside Chester Cathedral and find the answers. The answers will give you numbers essential to logging your find, failure to write in the log book may mean that your find will be deleted.

There is no charge to enter the Cathedral, but there is a suggested donation of £3 and you will also be given a ticket so the Cathedral can track visitor numbers. This trail does not involve the Tower Tour or falconry center, but they are both recommended.

The Cathedral is a working Church and some areas may be closed due to maintenance, services or events at times, hence the difficulty level.

Many of the cathedral staff are aware of the Geocache and they will be more than happy to help you if you are struggling.

The cache is placed with kind permission of the Dean and Chapter on the grounds of Chester Cathedral. Be aware that the gates to the grounds are locked any time from 5pm.

The Cache is a small container, with room for a few swaps. It is in a fairly muggle prone area, please use stealth!
The cathedral staff are aware of the cache so don’t worry about them too much, they may even be able to lend a hand.

Huge Congratulations to Sir PhilPamAndRob for being first to find the cache in its original location near the Kaleyard Gate on the day it was published!
