The A46 Bug Motel Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nottsfisherman: This cache went missing a while back and as it wasn’t the first time it had clearly been muggled. Having temporarily disabled it I have now been contacted by Geocaching.com with a not unreasonable request to decide on its future. My decision is to archive it.

Geocache Description:

A plastic box inside a camo bag, capable of holding a number of travel bugs and trackables. This should be a simple find.

This general area is pretty well served for geocaches, yet because most of them are small it can still be difficult to find somewhere suitable to deposit and collect trackables. This cache is intended specifically to help with that. It is located just 10 seconds from the A46 south of Newark and is next to a suitable small parking space where cars and vans can stop and the cache can be located without looking suspicious. There is access from and to both A46 carriageways.

The cache can be accessed on foot, but owing to its location it is probably easier to approach in a motor vehicle or by bicycle.

This cache is home to Peter and Paul the Passenger Pigeon travel bugs

Congratulations to Stevrac on being first to find.
