According to their website, the founder of this coffee shop, Henry Bright, spent two years searching for the perfect cup of coffee!! He traveled to Seattle, Boston, New York, and beyond in his quest. In the end, he found that the key to great coffee is freshly roasted beans. So what do you do? Buy a coffee roaster of course!
He opened the first coffee shop in 1993 and a sister roasting company in 1995. In addition to roasting beans for their own use, they roast for other coffeehouses and sell by the pound at local grocery stores. They source from Costa Rica, Honduras, and Hawaii and tout the selection of the top 1% of coffee beans.
