On The Border - Barely Able Traditional Cache

This cache is located on Whitman Dam Road in beautful Northern Ontario. Since there seems to be a geocaching party growing out here, I just had to throw a couple more smileys in for good measure.

When hunting for a nearby cache, I realized this was an old camping ground we used as teenagers / twentiers about 200 years ago. This was a trip down memory lane as about 20 of us friends came tenting every Victoria Day weekend, come snow, rain or shine, to enjoy our youth - it was heaven! I'd be barely able to keep up with our youthful antics nowadays.

The nearby camp area looks pretty much exactly as it did years ago.

I grabbed a container I happened to have in the truck and threw together a cache. Hopefully the container stays put!
