I was in Lakeport to find a cache to qualify for a challenge and met up with a co-worker who grew up in this area. After finding some caches, she suggested that I hide a cache near her parent's house. This cache is hidden in a residential area and the residents know about it.
At the posted coordinates you will find a cryptex container (a cylindrical device with dials that have to be correctly aligned in order to open it).
Once you find the container, you will need to find the code to unlock it so that you can gain access to the log.
The code is posted in plain sight from where the cryptex container is hidden. Hint: count the number of dials to help narrow down the possible "codes".
Be sure to bring your own pen or pencil. If you do not sign the physical log then your online log may be deleted.
