Geocache Description:

A winter-friendly bison tube placed at a memorial cairn for the Regina View School, which by the dates on the plaque appears to have been in operation from 1925 to 1944. I've driven past this location in the past, but finally decided to look up a bit more about it and place a cache here.

Some geocachers may remember a nearby mystery cache named "Regina View Computation" by wixter, which has since been archived.

When Wixter discovered this location back in 2008, he wrote into the Saskatchewan One Room School Project with some additional information.

According to a nearby resident who attended the school in the mid 1930's, the school was still here until the early 70's, when the land was sold to a farmer near Pilot Butte for grain storage. The nearby resident then erected the monument himself a few years later.

Happy Caching!
