vistra: It sounds like these containers are in need of replacement, they probably get a bit bashed around by the rocks. Time for them to go and make way for new hides. It'll be a couple of months before I'm over there again, so will remove them completely then.

Geocache Description:

A cache located on the side of Islington Bay Road on Rangitoto Island.

We have walked along Islington Bay Road a few times now and have decided that the road needs a few caches to break up the walk!  The road is fairly quiet and not many people walk along it, although the Fullers Volcanic Explorer Tour runs along the road a couple of times each day.

The cache is a 900ml plastic jar with room for swaps and trackables.  Bring your own pen.
