The community of Woodbridge, on the west side of Vaughan, is well served by three public libraries, including the Pierre Berton Resource Library, the largest and newest branch in the city. It is a building of award-winning design, opening to the public in September of 2004. The grand opening was attended by the man for whom the library was named, Pierre Berton, Canada’s foremost popular historian. It was the last public event he attended before his death in November of 2004. When you’re done on the outside, take a look inside. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Distinctive for its purple brick and glass front, it is located on a main east-west road, between a large community center and a high school.
The cache isn’t hard to find, but it’s in an area visible to staff and visitors alike. Stealth is required depending on the time of day.
The container is micro so bring you own writing implement. Bragging rights for FTF.
Congrats to IsqubaAndNawty for FTF!
