The south shore beaches have taken a beating in recent years, and the shoreline has been pushed back significantly, resulting at this spot in lost cottages, and boardwalk damage to the town beach. This cache is an easy find, with terrain a 2 only because beach may have debris or be rocky. It is still a great beach when the storms subside. Those who have not seen what's happening to our shores should take a look. Parking is free at the town beach except during the summer but you can walk/bike in anytime.
If you have time, walk west and see how property owners are coping with the rising ocean. About 1/2 mi west is an early 1920's Victorian that has been moved back and has been jacked up to hopefully get a few more years, but prospects aren't bright long range.
Cache is placed sufficiently high that it should be ok in the winter storms and moon tides. Cache is a mini Tupperware tin.Bring your own pencil.
