Polaris ... Challenge Mystery Cache

retiredprof: In light of geocaching's recent changes to the publishing rules, I am archiving all 150 of my challenge caches. I am a retired psychology professor, not a computer programmer. I am simply unable to comply with the new geochecker rules. I am sad that I have to do this. For those who have already begun any of my challenge caches, please note that you can still log archived caches. If you have any problems with this decision, please contact the geocaching authorities so that your suggestions may be considered.

Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden along a farm road, about three miles NW of Live Oak. You can drive right to it, after fulfilling the logging requirements below.

Several times over the years I have become temporarily disoriented at night, but a quick look at Polaris and I was back on track. Your task is to find a dozen caches that start with the word "north." Do not select caches that start with such variations as "northeast," "northwest," or "northern" and "northerly." Do not include locationless or lab caches, or more than one cache from a series. Please include three cache types (icons) on your list, as I have done below. And, remember, Polaris...the North star...is always there to guide you...
