Geocache Description:

A quick 'cache and dash' with free parking at the location. Why not grab this geocache while doing some shopping on Portrack Lane? 

A nano cache, so you will need your own pen to sign the log.

Portrack Lane was the name of a cricket ground, established in 1839 and located at the west end of the of the industrial estate which stands there today. As well as being home to the Stockon cricket team until the later end of the 19th century, the grounds were home to the combined Yorkshire and Durham, and Yorkshire with Stockton-on-Tees teams, in what would be the only two first-class matches to be hosted there.
