Many moons ago tribe move west because Pilgrims ruin neighborhood. Take trail directly across from Echo Lake office. An abandoned picnic area, benches and barbecue pits. Continue on the trail a bit, to the right of the trail, is a pine grove with some old foundations...watch out for wells if you investigate this area. Go DOWN. You may be able to follow what a horse leaves behind. Trooper Vanderbilt would sit here
