El santuario de Nuestra Señora de Flores
El Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Flores está en las afueras, a unos 2 km del casco urbano de Álora
Conocido como "Convento de Flores" fue construido en el siglo XVI y ampliado en el siglo XVIII. Posee una sola nave, en cuyo Altar Mayor hay un camarín de estilo Barroco, donde está situada la imagen de la "Virgen de Flores", Patrona de Álora.
Desde el mirador del convento se puede apreciar el relieve montañoso de El Chorro, Sierra Huma y El Torcal, además del Valle del río Guadalhorce.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Flowers
The Shrine of Our Lady of Flores is on the outskirts, about 2 km from the town of Alora
Known as "Convent of Flowers" was built in the sixteenth century and enlarged in the eighteenth century. It has a single nave, in which there is a chapel altar Baroque style, the location of the image of "Our Lady of Flowers", Patroness of Alora.
From the viewpoint of the monastery you can see the mountainous terrain of El Chorro, El Torcal Sierra Huma and also the Guadalhorce river valley.
