Geocache Description:

A traditional hide in a smallish square box within sight of Knapwell Wood. The hide is just off a footpath running across agricultural land. The walk to the cache is straightforward but it will be muddy in winter.

Knapwell Wood is a small spinney lying about 2 km south of Knapwell. You can approach from the east or the west, though I favoured the eastern approach having walked up from nearby Cambourne. The footpath to the cache is one of those easily disregarded routes that doesn't really seem to go anywhere in particular. Care must be taken if you walk along either the old A428 or Knapwell Road on your journey to and from the cache site.
