The cache is hidden in a tree which commemorates Wiremu Tamihana who was the first Christian Chief of the Ngati Haua tribe, the Maori tribe local to Matamata and Eastern Waikato.
The cache is a berroca tin, please be gentle and don't harm the tree in any way when retrieving or putting back the cache. Bring your own pen/pencil. Please ensure its well hidden from muggles
