Geocache Description:

"Come on, boss, when have I ever let you down?"
    "Well, there was Cato Neimoidia."
―Clone Commander Cody and Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi

CC-2224, nicknamed "Cody," was a clone marshal commander assigned to High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi of the Grand Army of the Republic throughout the Clone Wars.

The leader of the 7th Sky Corps, though he typically took personal command of the 212th Attack Battalion, Cody was a loyal and competent soldier who always followed his orders. He was a no-nonsense commander who was very skilled in tactics.

Order 66 was one of a series of contingency orders that the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic were trained to obey without hesitation. The order branded members of the Jedi Order as traitors to the Republic and called for their immediate execution without question or hesitation. The issuing of the order by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine marked the formal beginning of the Great Jedi Purge, and signified the rise of the Galactic Empire. It was chief among the atrocities that led to the Galactic Civil War.

Almost all of the Jedi were killed by Order 66, and most of the survivors were killed in the Great Jedi Purge that followed. The Jedi Order survived through acts of surviving Jedi, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda, teaching Luke Skywalker the ways of the Force.

It devastated Cody to go against his friend and commander Jedi Kenobi, that after the Clone War ,
he exiled himself to a lone galaxy, far far, away....

Cody lives a life of solitude, far away from the galaxy he once was so loyal to, here he stands a lone guard, forever living his betrayal of the Jedi Knights.

Cody stands alone through the harsh and beautiful weather of Hawaii Island 's historic Saddle Road( highway 200 Daniel K. Inouye ) the cache is located about 1.5 miles from the 18 mile marker ,if you're coming from Hilo. it is on the Mauna Loa side of the highway. Although the cache is listed as a micro, it's base is quite large, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. You need to bring a pen and an extraction tool. Please place the cache back exactly as you found it. The terrain is quite rocky, so take your time.

Malama the area and CITO when possible. Also, when writing your logs , please no spoilers! Aloha and mahalo...Happy hunting.

Mahalo to Two Pandas...FTF!
