
Most residents of White Plains are aware of Chatterton Hill, Miller Hill, Mount Misery, and other local landmarks of the American Revolution. But on the other side of the fight, General Howe and his British/Hessian army followed Washington from Long Island to Westchester. They set up their own defenses on this side of the Bronx River, including their field hospital pictured above. The house that now stands on this corner was built during the 1980's, but a Well hidden in the backyard remains from revolutionary war times.
BYOP. You will find the cache on Post Road on the corner with the bus stop, not on any of the properties around the corner on New York Avenue. Also, no need to move any stones, it is not in the wall!
