You're looking for a black container about 6" in diameter & 9" tall that looks like a giant black olive.
The quickest/easiest route to the cache is as follows: From Highway 38 on the north shore of Big Bear Lake, head north through Fawnskin on Rim of the World Drive, which will turn into a dirt road about 1/2 mile after you leave Hwy 38. You're now on Forest Service road 3N14. Continue on 3N14 to the 4 way junction at Big Pine Flat which is 6.8 miles from where you leave Highway 38. At Big Pine Flat, head east (turn right) on to 3N16. Follow 3N16 for 2.3 miles until you come to a fork in the road. Leave 3N16 and head north (left). A little over 100 feet after leaving 3N16, you'll pass through a green gate - the gate itself will be on your left. After heading north on this road for about 2 tenths of a mile you'll come to another fork. Veer left and continue for about 1 1/4 miles where you'll reach a rocky wide area at the top of the hill. Park here and begin your search for the cache which is less than 100 feet from the parking area.
