This cache is not hidden on private property -- Please do not touch anyone's fence or enter anyone's yard. There is limited parking on St. Paul and Seymour, but not at the cache site.
This cache was born of a quest to complete The ABC Challenge (GC20CJE) and a realisation that at this point in time Kamloops is a bit short on active caches starting with the letter X. Wanting to choose a site that was unequivocally within city limits, I typed "Kamloops" into the map search bar and zoomed in at the centre. As it happens I landed near an appropriate spot for a treasure hunt -- Nicola Wagon Road, location #2 on the Kamloops Heritage Walking Tour. Once you've made the find do have a look at the interpretive sign or, better yet, pick up a Walking Tour brochure beforehand at the Kamloops Museum & Archives (also available online) and spend a leisurely couple of hours strolling around the West End. This is my first time placing/owning a cache, so I tried to put some effort into it. You are looking for an inexpensive plastic partitioned lunch container -- Please be gentle with the camo and replace it exactly as found, and please do not take the pencil / pencil sharpener. FTF prize was a gift certificate for Project X Theatre Productions, and when placed the cache also contained a few "x" themed trade items. -- Congratulations MaliBooBoo on what must have been the fastest FTF in history !
