Geocache Description:

For other caches in the G.O. Joe Chronicles, please visit GC4PDFR, GC4QTQ7 and GC4RC8A...

After G.O. Joe's last hide, you may be cursing his name and thinking he was off his rocker. But each year, as the holidays neared, he became a big softie. He would rush to get his ornaments out, wanting to be the first along the river to decorate his beat-up old van. He would give each of his two children a box of 7 ornaments and instruct them to place them along the river for the other cachers to see. This year, one picked the 'pretty side' and the other picked the 'ugly side' of the river to hide the ornaments. But, Joe hadn't completely gone soft...he attached a clue to each ornament which would lead to another devilish hide for those who wanted a little extra challenge. G.O. Joe and his family hope you enjoy your holiday visit to the river and wish everyone the best for the special season!!!

Tips: Along the way, you may encounter 'No Hunting' signs as well as permanent deer stands. It may be best to error on the side of caution and wear your prettiest ORANGE. The easiest starting point for both sides of the river is the parking area on Klee Mill Rd. There is also additional parking where the river crosses London Bridge Rd. If you tire, twist an ankle, or grow bored along the journey, there is a scenic, well-worn trail that runs along the north side of the river. However, none of the caches are directly accessible from this trail. Please take care to remove the logs carefully with tweezers without removing the cache containers and notify the CO if any of the clues appear damaged or unreadable.
