Tiedot Haukkavuoren historiasta löytyvät opastauluista, joista yksi neljällä kielellä on kuvissa. Haukkavuori on Etelä-Karjalan korkein paikka (173 m merenpinnasta) ja siitä hieman pohjoiseen sijaitsee Ruokolahden korkein paikka (170 m), jossa on myös geokätkö. Haukkavuoren erikoisuuksiin kuuluu pitkä, kulmikas jyrkänne, jota ei voi käyttää lasketteluun, vuorenseinämäkiipeilyyn kylläkin. Kiilaathan kätkön samalla tavalla takaisin paikalleen ja varo kadottamasta taskuista putoavia tavaroita etsiessäsi kätköä. You can find information of the history the Eagle Mountain in the information board. The Eagle Mountain is the highest place of Southern Karelia (170 m). Please squeeze the cache holder back the same way as it was. Watch out not to drop any items from your pockets when searching for the cache.
